Pearl is getting a bit teary-eyed because of the memories of Rose.
One of my favourite things in this crossover idea is that if you noticed the original fairies have different shaped cloak-buckles: triangle, square and circle. These forms are basicly the headshapes of the Gems as well. I think it's cool.
