Watched Randy Newman performing this song live. It made me try to imagine the toy gang singing this song...
I guess such small instruments doesn't exist.XD It took a while to decide who to match with each instrument. I was sure only about Woody.
Piano. This isn't Buzz's first performance on piano I've pictured and I think he would manage it very well, not to mention his voice reminds me a lot to Randy's. Anyway, I think he's got the most perfect hands of all the toys for this mission. Now two instruments occupied, and Jessie was next. Drums? No, not her style. Violin? Hmm... maybe. But she looks totally funny with the bass-instrument, so I hope she likes the choice. Let just grumpy old Potatohead struggle with the violin. And Totoro is big and strong enough for the drums...
What do you think?
This is my first time I used just my scanned pencil outlines. It needs some experience... I'm not too satisfied with the lighting and a few other things, but forgive me this time. Hope I'll be out of this horrible cold soon. Grrr:/
Here's the sepia version: [link] I wonder which version will be more poular...
Awww, that's so cute. And the Totoro? A nice touch. Tora and her sister Sora would head off to the world of Toy Story in Radiant Garden within Master Howl's castle through a small door in the wall.
this is amazing i remember having this Woody doll and it came with a guitar and on the guitar it had two buttons that played paradoies <- sorry for mispelling of "Home on the Range" and i think "Camptown Ladies" hmm i accidentally threw Woody's hat into the fire (i was about 4-5 back then in 1996 1997 ish)
This picture is just epic to the 100th degree! What I wouldn't pay to see these guys in concert! XD
I think Buzz on piano and Woody on guitar is just PERFECT, and Jessie playing a bass surprisingly suits her. And poor Mr. Potatohead with the violin. I can just imagine him thinking, "This is what I get for being a toy with fingers." And are the peas like the band's little chorus? So cute.
